Aug 14, 2010 - I have a 1600cc turbo diesel, 0-60 in 10s & 120mph. 55MPG in town, 72MPG at 70MPH. The prius showed 51mpg at 25mph!!! Mine shows about 80mpg doing that in the right gear. My car is cheap to tax, insure, run and service. No main dealer only parts/options like a prius. The prius is 20years or more behind now, diesel took over and Toyota buried their heads in the sand. The prius would only be good with a diesel engine. The only way to make it match current diesel car economy. Who wants a prius!
